Congratulations to Paxton Coughlin and Dillon Kong, students from Humber Polytechnic, who won a Medallion for Excellence at the WorldSkills Competition in Lyon, France.
They competed in the Mechatronics division, which combines mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, and computer technology to create automated systems for industries.
Betcha didn't know Humber has a strong history in the Mechatronics division and is the only post-secondary institution in North America to win a medal in this category at WorldSkills International.
The two had already won first place at the provincial and national levels and were training 40 hours a week for this competition.
