The Toronto Tea Festival hosted its 11th annual event that brings tea lovers, vendors and experts together to celebrate the world of tea. This happened at the Toronto Reference Library, on Feb 2. 2025.

Hundreds of tea enthusiasts, sommeliers and consumers of tea attended this event. Amanda Wang, an Asian Tea Associate said.

"This is amazing. I haven't seen too many people like this in four or five years, this is the biggest event I've ever had," she said.

This event is Canada’s largest tea festival where culture, tea tasting, and speakers are experienced and enjoyed.

This was one of the most anticipated and must-attend events for tea fans everywhere. It wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of tea-loving volunteers, according to the Toronto Tea website.

The festival showed its enthusiasm and commitment to creating an enjoyable experience for attendees with displays that offered a rich tapestry of flavours, aromas and cultures. It provided tea sommeliers or anyone curious an opportunity to taste some of the finest teas from around the world.

Through presenting sponsors Tao Tea Leaf and the Tea Guild of Canada, the Toronto Tea Festival continues to thrive as a hub for education, exploration, and community, according to the Toronto Tea website.

Wang said she wants more people to know about the culture and the habit of having tea, and how it's more healthy compared to coffee.
