Humber Journalism is officially launching our new website, HumberETC, and giving out printed copies of our first newspaper of the year. Join us outside the Tech Zone near the new Starbucks location. At 11:30, a reflective walk of reconciliation will take place to honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The event is being organized by IGNITE and Humber Indigenous Education & Engagement and Humber Student Wellness & Accessibility. It starts at 11:15am at The Barret Centre and ends in the Humber Arboretum. Visit this website for more information, and to learn how to register.

Know someone who's looking to practice their English conversation skills? Join tutors from Humber Polytechnic's Math & Writing Centre and educators from the Humber Arboretum for a walking conversation about plants, animals, the weather, and more. It takes place Friday from 1:00 pm to 2:30 in the Arborteum.
Explore the science behind what makes us crave junk food with the next President's Lecture series. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Micheal Moss will be on campus on Wednesday, October 9th to discuss the secrets of the billion dollar world of processed food. The talk is open to students and faculty.
